Hearthstone Tavern Brawls
Tavern Brawls are a fresh take on Hearthstone’s game play, featuring weekly rotating challenges that pit Heroes against each other and offer new rewards. Each Brawl runs for a week, and once it ends the results are posted on a Tavern Scoreboard. Players can take part in Brawls with a team of up to five Heroes or Mercenary Bands (player-controlled squads) and apply their skills in epic battles that occur in the tavern every night. Roleplaying is encouraged, with the Mercenary Band and Heroes taking part in each Brawl being uniquely named. Each Brawl uses a deck that does not use any of the player’s regular deck slots, and players can edit this deck within the Tavern Brawl interface before each match.
Tavern brawls are meant to be fun and community centered events so be kind to one another! Trash talk and jabs are fine but do not abuse your opponent or be a sore loser. A good rule of thumb is to fight the person who insulted you unless they apologize or imply they are not worth fighting.
The Tavern Brawl interface can be accessed via the Play, Solo Adventures, and Arena buttons on the main Hearthstone screen, and it’s easy to cross swords with complete strangers or close gaming buddies—just open your Friends List and push the “Challenge” button next to their name to start a fight. Tavern Brawl matches also count toward the Daily Quest for winning 3 in a row, further increasing your in-game Gold haul.
